Dr. Bentley graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. Since that time, she has been practicing in Sevier County and at Seymour Veterinary Clinic since 1985. All aspects veterinary medicine and surgery, along with great clients, continues to fuel her passion for her work.
Aside from work, she loves trail riding and camping with her horses. She has three gated horses, Stormy and Lacey are her riding horses, and Cadillac is for her three granddaughters to ride. She also has two dogs, Bandit and Sandy, and three cats, Patches, Spooky and Blue.
Laura Christian grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Bearden High School. She began her veterinary career in high school while volunteering at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary medicine during summer vacation. Laura then graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Biology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002 from the University of Tennessee and has been working at Seymour Veterinary Clinic since graduation.
Dr. Christian enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery but has a special interest in dentistry and preventive medicine. In her spare time, Laura enjoys hanging out with her two rescued greyhounds and four spoiled house cats. She also enjoys gardening, baking, and watching movies
Dr. Randolph first gained interest in veterinary medicine during her senior year at Maryville High School while volunteering at the Blount County Animal Center. She then attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a Pre-veterinary concentration and Biology minor. After undergrad she went on to the vet school program at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She adores small dogs and cats, and she has a sweet Jack Russell Terrier named Doodle. Outside of work she loves beaches, karaoke, swimming, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Lakatosh knew from a young age that she was destined to be a veterinarian. She began her journey at the University of Tennessee, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Animal Science in 2014. She graduated with her DVM from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
Driven by her lifelong passion for veterinary care, Dr. Lakatosh has honed her skills, even completing additional coursework and training in diagnostic imaging, particularly small animal ultrasound. With six years of experience in a rural mixed animal practice in western South Dakota, Dr. Lakatosh brings a wealth of knowledge and care to her work. She finds joy in tackling a variety of cases in general practice, especially those that allow her to find practical solutions to improve the quality of life for both pets and their human companions. She is excited to return to her hometown of Seymour and continue to make a positive impact on the community she holds dear.
Outside of work, Dr. Lakatosh enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and cherishing moments with her family and pets—Tyson the Tennessee Brown Dog, her two cats KeyCat and Queenie, and Xerxes the corn snake.
Dr. Chelsey Fortner was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is proud to serve pets and their families in the Seymour community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Fortner’s special interests include behavioral medicine and internal medicine, allowing her to support both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients. She is passionate about building strong relationships with pets and their owners and tailoring care to each animal’s unique needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fortner enjoys all kinds of sports and cheering on the Volunteers with her fiancé. She shares her home with two dogs, Ted, a golden retriever, and Cooper, a Great Dane.
Dr. Morgan Beard earned both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. She has a genuine love for all dogs and cats and is dedicated to helping them live long, healthy lives.
Her professional interests include preventative medicine and dermatology, with a focus on early detection, skin health, and ongoing wellness care tailored to each pet’s needs.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Beard enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.
